Ortholevo is a preclinical-stage therapeutics startup developing sustained-release relaxin, a peptide hormone formulated as a single joint injection to treat joint stiffness and fibrosis, particularly frozen shoulder. The company, spun out of Boston University and Harvard Medical School, is grant-funded and focused on creating locally-acting injectable treatments for fibrotic diseases affecting musculoskeletal health.
