Lido is a liquid staking protocol that allows users to stake Ethereum and receive stETH tokens while earning rewards, with stETH tradeable across decentralized finance platforms and usable as collateral. The protocol is operated by over 800 independent node operators globally and is governed by the Lido DAO through LDO token holder voting.
