McKesson confirmed a cyberattack that compromised third-party apps connected to its Oncology & Multispecialty and Medical-Surgical divisions. ShinyHunters claims a vishing scheme hijacked employee Okta credentials, unlocking Salesforce and Snowflake environments and stealing approximately 1 TB of data comprising 284 million records (linked to tens of millions of people) including SSNs, diagnoses, medications, and allergies. Hackers are demanding $55 million.
