Military-simulation software studio; a Destineer publishing brand. Built military training-simulation programs for the U.S. Marine Corps in the early 2000s (the Close Combat series, incl. Close Combat: Marines); Marines of 3rd Bn 1st Marines (3/1) served as technical advisors. President: Peter Tamte. THIS was the part of Destineer In-Q-Tel was interested in (military training simulations) — the seam connecting Troy Pearsall's board seat and his infoviz-into-training-simulation work. Originated Six Days in Fallujah (3/1 Marines who fought the 2004 Second Battle of Fallujah asked Atomic Games to make it; announced 2009 w/ Konami, dropped amid controversy; Atomic Games bankrupt 2011) -> revived by Tamte's Victura (2016; dev Highwire Games of ex-Bungie/Halo staff; Windows early access 2023-06-22).
