This edition covers the real Arkansas outside Northwest Arkansas, which already has its own dedicated coverage built around Walmart, Tyson, and J.B. Hunt. Little Rock, in Pulaski County, is the state capital and by far the state's largest metro -- state government, the Clinton Presidential Center, and a real regional banking and healthcare base. Conway (Faulkner County) sits just north of Little Rock inside the same metro. Jonesboro (Craighead County) anchors northeast Arkansas and Arkansas State University, in the heart of Delta rice and soybean country. Pine Bluff (Jefferson County) carries its own, harder economic history along the Arkansas River. None of these are Northwest Arkansas, and this edition doesn't fold them into a corporate cluster they were never part of.
